West Bund Art & Design 2021
KOTARO NUKAGA is pleased to announce that we will be participating in the international art fair West Bund Art & Design 2021 in Shanghai from November 11, 2021 (Thursday).
For our first art fair in 2 years, KOTARO NUKAGA will be exhibiting works by six artists, including New York-based artists Tony Matelli and Tomokazu Matsuyama. We will also exhibit a new work by Keita Morimoto, who will be holding his first solo exhibition in Japan at KOTARO NUKAGA, Tennoz from November 20; this art fair will mark the artist’s first time showing in Asia. Additionally, our booth will present seven large canvas paintings by Yuichi Hirako, as well as a drawing by Carlos Rolon, who recently held a well-received solo exhibition at KOTARO NUKAGA, Roppongi, and whose works question belonging and the suppressed histories of postcolonial spaces.
KOTARO NUKAGA’s booth will feature a total of 16 two-and three-dimensional works, from Tomokazu Matsuyama’s latest pieces to the works of artists active overseas. We look forward to welcoming you to our booth at the fair!
