KOTARO NUKAGA to participate in 'Art Week Tokyo'

KOTARO NUKAGA is pleased to announce its participation in Art Week Tokyo, taking place from November 4 to 8, 2026. During the week, visitors can view Kour Pour’s ‘Points of Entry’ at KOTARO NUKAGA Roppongi and Gentaro Ishizuka’s ‘Glacier Diary’ at KOTARO NUKAGA Tennoz. Both venues will be open from 10:00 to 18:00 from November 4 to 8.

Kour Pour has developed a body of painting that brings together imagery from across regions and periods, from Persian carpets to ukiyo-e. In ‘Points of Entry’, he presents new works from his “Poly Painting” series, which layers multiple visual traditions onto a single plane, using the structure of the carpet as its foundation. The exhibition runs through November 8, the final day of Art Week Tokyo.

Gentaro Ishizuka’s ‘Glacier Diary’ marks a culmination of his “Glacier Diary” series, in which he has followed retreating glaciers by sea kayak. Centred on large-scale panoramic works, the exhibition also presents a kayak approximately four metres long, constructed from photographic paper.

On November 5, the galleries of the Piramide Building and 665 Complex in Roppongi will jointly host ‘Roppongi Gallery Night × Art Week Tokyo 2026’. KOTARO NUKAGA Roppongi will extend its opening hours until 21:00 that evening.

From November 6 to 8, the complimentary AWT Bus will link participating museums and galleries. The nearest stops are D-1（Roppongi）for KOTARO NUKAGA Roppongi and C-5（Tennoz）for KOTARO NUKAGA Tennoz.
