Mariko Kobayashi participates as the supporter of KOGEI ARTISTS LEAGUE 2025-26. 

The ‘MUFG Kogei Project’ is an initiative that MUFG（Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group）has been advancing since 2023 as part of its social contribution activities, supporting the “tradition and innovation” of Japanese traditional craft（”kogei”）. 

‘KOGEI ARTISTS LEAGUE’ is a program that supports the exhibition and sales opportunities for the next generation of artists. In addition to Yuji Akimoto as the representative supporter, seven kogei artists, including Kobayashi, who are active worldwide across various kogei categories, will participate as supporters in the selection process and exchange meetings to support the creative activities of young kogei artists. Finalists selected through the screening process will be able to exhibit their works at the exhibition scheduled to be held at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store in Tokyo in August 2026.
