Rhizomatiks will exhibit the AI project "recursive" at Kyoto University

Rhizomatiks will exhibit the artwork recursive at Kyoto University from October 6, 2025 – January, 2026.

 

This work is an ongoing project that develops Beyond Perception Model – an AI model trained solely on approximately 170,000 images independently created by Rhizomatiks and exhibited at their solo exhibition ‘Rhizomatiks Beyond Perception’ at KOTARO NUKAGA（Tennoz） in 2024 – to explore the theme of “AI’s recursive self-learning and the evolution of creativity. 

This exhibition will be presented as the inaugural show for the newly established art space in the International Science Innovation Building on Kyoto University’s Yoshida Campus.
