Yuichi Hirako has recently created a window display for Hermès Landmark Prince’s, Hong Kong
This is the flagship store in Hong Kong which stands out as the unique establishment with artist window In addition to the window display, Hirako has also created neon drawings for the outside façade of the building, commemorating the first time the store has ever exhibited an artist in this location. If you’re in the neighborhood, we invite you to come visit the world of Hermès as created by Yuichi Hirako this holiday season.

“Six Trees” by Yuichi Hirako I named the title of this exhibition “six trees”.
The kanji for “forest” (森) is composed of three trees (木),
but I created a new kanji that is composed of six trees.
What kind of existence is the forest to us who live in cities and towns?
I believe that, though we cannot visit it easily, it is a place that evokes images of healing and peace of mind.
It may also be a place where some people would like to settle down if they were to become free of their current position.
I hypothesized that such a state could be envisioned as a small tree inside of each of us.
I imagined that the layering of these images within each of us creates a new ideal world called SIX TREES.
This place is surely even more beautiful than the actual forest.
Even if we live in cities and towns, the forest may still exist within each of us.—————–
