Yuichi Hirako's solo exhibition "Journey" will be held at Space K Seoul, Korea

Yuichi Hirako’s solo exhibition “Journey,” which will run from November 16 to February 4 at Space K Seoul, Korea.

In this exhibition, Yuichi Hirako continues to pursue the coexistence of nature and human. ‘Tree Man’ is a character created as a medium to connect humans and nature. With a human body, a tree head, and deer antlers, ‘Tree Man’ goes on a journey with a dog, a cat, and various plants in this exhibition. Sometimes by the river, sometimes in the forest, and sometimes in a room, the scenes with animals and plants are transformed into various media such as painting, sculpture, and installation to give viewers a better sensory understanding of nature. The artist’s idea which is based on ecology, suggest viewing nature on an equal footing rather than as an object to be explored and conquered, calling attention to the human-centred attitude towards nature.
