Yuichi Hirako × Nerima Art Museum collection exhibition

Yuichi Hirako will be held Collection Exhibition ‘inheritance, metamorphosis, rebirth［ 遺産、変形、再生］’at Nerima Art Museum from November 18, 2022 (Fri). This exhibition will feature 10 works selected by Hirako himself from the Nerima Art Museum’s valuable collection, as well as new works created by Hirako incorporating various elements through his interpretation and analysis of these 10 paintings. This new work is a large work measuring 3.3 meters in height and 10 meters in width, and will be on view along with 10 other paintings from the selected museum collection. By transforming the legacy of the museum’s collection by another artist named Hirako, the exhibition attempts to re-create it with a contemporary sensibility and to create a dialogue that transcends time and space. We hope you will visit this exhibition, which explores the creative possibilities that connect the past to the future.
