KOTARO NUKAGA is pleased to announce that a new work by Keita Morimoto, Murmurs Beneath, specially commissioned for “OMOTESANDO HILLS 20th”—will be exhibited at Omotesando Hills, Main Building 1F Main Entrance, from May 1 to 31, 2026.
Marking the 20th anniversary of its opening, the year 2026 sees Omotesando Hills launch its commemorating project “OMOTESANDO HILLS 20th,” will be openwith music producer and fragment design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara serving as Creative Director.
Commissioned by Fujiwara, Morimoto produced two paintings—each measuring 2.5 meters per side—drawing inspiration from the streetscape of Omotesando. One of these, Murmurs Beneath, is set against the backdrop of Omotesando Hills, a longstanding hub of Japanese fashion and culture. Nostalgic urban motifs—such as a public phone booth and a kōban (police box) sign—emerge with a lingering sense of light, evoking the atmosphere of the city.
As part of “OMOTESANDO HILLS 20th,” the main visuals will be displayed throughout the interior and exterior of Omotesando Hills, beginning May 2, 2026.
