Keita Morimoto will present new limited edition prints with AVANT ARTE

Limited edition prints by Keita Morimoto, Jewel Box and Evening Embers, will be available exclusively through AVANT ARTE for 48 hours from 19:00（JST）on December 9, 2025.  

Through the symbolic use of light, Morimoto merges its sacred and natural connotations with the stark realities of consumerism, creating works that resonate with both historical depth and modern complexity. 

Evening Embers, one of the two prints, depicts a scene from the artist’s studio neighbourhood in Tokyo, its geometric forms inspired by Japanese kanban（signboard）architecture. Jewel Box portrays a woman standing before a glowing glass cabinet outside a Tokyo restaurant. In both works, the softly illuminated window – a quintessential motif in Keita’s practice – becomes a portal between worlds, nodding to the pre-modernist idea that a painting is itself a ‘window’ into another space. 

Each edition features silkscreen-printed gold shimmer details in the glowing areas, creating a luminous, transportive atmosphere that contrasts with the surrounding soft matte textures.
