Yuichi Hirako ‘Papyrus’


We are pleased to announce that in commemoration of the publication of Yuichi Hirako’s catalogue GIFT YUICHI HIRAKO, KOTARO NUKAGA, Tennoz will be exhibiting ‘Papyrus’ by Yuichi Hirako from July 14th (Wed) to July 21st (Wed), 2021.

Yuichi Hirako’s works explore the vague boundary between nature and humans. Following the positive reception to his activities both domestically and internationally, the artist will be releasing his first catalogue through Bijutsu Shuppan-Sha Co., Ltd. this September. Prior to the general release of the catalogue, Hirako will be releasing his first silkscreen prints online. There will be 2 prints, GIFT 01 and GIFT 14, each limited to 75 editions each. In commemoration of the catalogue publication, KOTARO NUKAGA, Tennoz will be exhibiting the original two-dimensional works and drawings featured in the prints and catalogue. A limited number of catalogues will be sold in advance at the exhibition venue, as well as a limited number of original goods specially made for this exhibition (a total of 4 merchandise: T-shirt, tote bag, pouch, and glass cup).
