Rebecca R. Manson
OVERVIEW
Rebecca Manson (b. 1989, New York, NY). A graduate of the ceramics department at the Rhode Island School of Design, Manson is a sculptor with both a high-grade technical toolbox and a pursuit of breakable rules. Her subject is nature and its lessons, observed in her gardens and surroundings in the countryside immediately north of New York City.
Her works have been showcased in various galleries and institutions, including ACME Gallery’s “Hard and Soft,” the Katonah Museum of Art’s “Line Describing a Cone,” and Zaha Hadid Architects’ “Fun House” at 520 W. 28th. Her debut public art exhibition, “Come Closer and the View Gets Wider,” is presently showcased in Tribeca Park, New York City. Manson currently resides and creates in Brooklyn.
